The secret to getting pregnant that you haven’t tapped into yet

I work with many women who are struggling to conceive and this scenario comes up often:

Maybe you can relate: you go to your OBGYN, who tells you to try for a year and come back if you aren’t pregnant. Then she does a panel of labs that come back either completely normal and you are told to keep trying, or you are sent straight to the reproductive endocrinologist due to some mildly abnormal finding. \

And you immediately catastrophize. You will most certainly need medical assistance to conceive. You probably should go ahead and start IVF treatments. You have a long road ahead so you better buckle up.

You cry in the car on the way home feeling so overwhelmed and like your body doesn’t do the ONE THING it was born to do.

Oh friend, I feel you on this. It is so real. And so hard to be desiring a baby, and hear news that makes you think you’ll never get to fulfill your dream of becoming a mother.

But hear me say this:

  • Medical testing can be helpful when it comes to identifying why you are struggling to conceive.

  • Hormone panels can provide good information as to what is happening physiologically.

  • Testing like ultrasounds and HSG test can be helpful to identify any physical barriers to your fertility

  • Medication and fertility treatments  can help your body get over the “hump” to open up the doors to conception - there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with choosing this route if your body needs help getting pregnant.

AND- When you reduce your fertility, pregnancy and birth, and postpartum healing to a solely medical problem,

We reinforce a lie we learned from a young age:

You do not and cannot know, understand, and trust your own body

We have been indoctrinated from a young age to fundamentally not trust our bodies, and this has a HUGE impact on overall health, especially when it comes to fertility, pregnancy, and birth.

Why?

Because you were born with a wise feminine intuition AND a highly sophisticated nervous system that wants you to be safe. Your body functions best in safety.

But when you hear things like “OMG you have PCOS, head straight to the fertility specialist”

It creates a response in your brain that both physiologically impacts your hormonal activity AND your feminine wisdom that say “we must keep her safe.”

Let me tell you why this is ACTUALLY good news for you if you are struggling with infertility or maybe making a baby is just taking longer than you had hoped:

Your body is FOR you, NOT against you.

Read that again!

So this is just your women’s health bestie reminding you that no doctor , no matter what level of training or speciality fellowship they’ve done, or letters after their name, knows YOUR body more than you.

You may or may not need more labs, testing, or medical intervention to get pregnant.

But what you DEFINITELY need, is to trust your body again.

The missing link to your fertility (not to mention carrying a pregnancy, bringing a child into the world, and enjoying the bliss of those early days with your baby) isn’t always explained by conventional medicine.

In order to get pregnant, you need to rediscover that feminine intuition, which comes through getting delicious support and juicy mindset tools that reconnect you to that place of love and safety in your body.

So if you are experiencing

💔painful sex that has you extremely anxious about trying to conceive

💔cycle irregularities that have you worried you will have a difficult path to starting your family

💔conception difficulty and/or infertility

💔Pregnancy loss / miscarriage

💔confusion around how and when to exercise because your postpartum healing process is way more difficult than you imagined

I’d love to chat with you about how to overcome this with strategy AND intuition. There just might be something super juicy here for you and I’d love to journey with you to discover it!
