Make fertility fun again
Hey friend, be honest: how much FUN are you having on your journey to conceive?
A little context for this photo (Taken in February of 2022 literally the the NIGHT BEFORE Reed was conceived ‼️😜):
I was desperately sad {Instagram perception vs reality- gotcha again} and completely jaded
A couple of weeks earlier, I had had a miscarriage.
Our second loss in 5 months.
A friend of ours was having a party that involved costumes and dancing
I’d been spending a lot of time crying on the couch to Sweet Magnolias (am I the only one who grieves with a cheesy show?)
And It seemed counterintuitive to go to a party when my heart was still hurting so deeply
But boy did it feel good to play dress up and move my body and just be SILLY
after all we’d been through the last several months.
My soul needed it. My body needed it…
as it turns out, literally—
Two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant again.
This got me thinking…
Trying to conceive should be a time filled with excitement and joy
But instead it sucks all the fun out of your life.
Because you’re constantly worried about if you’re
✅eating the right things
✅exercising enough but not too much
✅doing it on the right days
And any ounce of joy you SHOULD be having in this season
📆Is sucked up by logistics and a s€x schedule that has you feeling like you’re doing something wrong (hi anxiety!)
Oh my friend… it’s so normal to feel this way!!!
🤔But what if it could be fun, flowy, joyful even?
If your process is anything like mine was, that sounds almost laughable
Because Desiring a baby with all your being and watching months go by is HARD and vulnerable.
Especially after loss. Or multiple losses.
And having the perseverance to keep trying takes SO much energy
But here is the TRUTH: you don’t have to put your life on hold,
Constantly questioning whether your day-to-day decisions will determine whether or not you will see a positive test this month
You can enjoy your life now
WHILE waiting in confident, hopeful anticipation of your baby.
Want to make your fertility journey more FUN?
I’d love to chat about how to make that happen.
